Check your username and password provided into getConnection function. Verify this username and password from other tool (like sqlplus). If username and password are ok, verify if alias is correct (if using JDBC OCI) or that host:port/serviceName is correct (or host:port:sid). For passwords, be sure to use upper case / lower case letters as needed.

Posted September 18, 2015. I'm running the server the same as I've been doing for a few weeks now. Before, it just let me on (I use a general username and password since my friend and I have many RP servers) but now it's telling me Invalid Username/Password. I tried using my steam login but that didn't work either.
Open Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > User Rights Assignment. On Allow log on locally option, right-click and select Properties. The Allow log on Properties window opens. Click Add User or Group…. The Select Users, Computers, … window opens. Type the users and/or groups. Click OK to save the data.
Everything went successful until now, but when I tried to log in with the new created user with 'connect dummy' I get the error: Ora 01017 Invalid Username Password; logon denied. After resetting the password 10 times and creating 8 new users, I am nearly 100% sure, the password and username is correct.

There are two ways to change your account setup to work: Generate a Personal Access Token in Github and then paste that in place of your Github password in Sourcetree - as mentioned by @Jet. Switch from Basic authentication to OAuth in the Auth type dropdown in Sourcetree for your Github account.
